We could not leave Ms.Maxi at the shelter. She is a sweet old girl that deserves a home of her own. Even though she has lived her life outside on a chain, she has found indoor living is wayyy better. Maxi is very clean in the house and has yet to have an accident.
Maxi may be 11 yrs old and may have some arthritis in her joints and has spondylosis, she is still full of life and is often up for a game of tag. She has no problem with stairs but does need to be careful around slippery surfaces.
Maxie is not as food motivated as most of our big dogs but she does sometimes guard her food and toys. This is easily managed and she is learning she doesn’t need to guard things. Maxi is available for adoption if the right home comes along. But they need to be aware that 11 is old for a dog like her. WCRR will pay for her vet bills if needed. She is currently living with another dog but cats are not for this girl. Any small furry things are just prey to her.
Maxi is fostered in Surrey BC. If you would like more information about this sweetie, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
