Jake has been back with us for awhile now, and its clear that he needs a special kind of home.  One that has few people coming and going as these things set Jake off.   His new home must be able to meet his exercise needs, so a home with some land and a secure area for him to run is necessary.
Jake is not for the first time dog owner.   Most of his behaviours come from under socialization and fear.  And he needs someone that will work with him in a positive manner.  But when he loves you, he loves you.   And when he trusts you, he trusts you.

We are looking for an adult only home.  He is fine with other dogs once  a proper introduction is done

Jake was adopted out to a family about 16 months ago   He is now almost 2 yrs old.
His family did not provide the exercise, training, and socialization that poor Jake needed.  So when he because a problem for them, they decided to return him to us.
Jake has since been with a trainer for over a month and we now know lots about him
Jake is shy and unsure in new situations but has proven that he can recover quickly and is starting to trust and enjoy the people around him.    Jake needs a fair amount of exercise and will need to learn basic manners but all in all he is a great boy with a ton of potential.
Jake is good with other dogs, ignores cats and while he is good with children we feel that it is best that he go to a home without any small kids so that his new owners can focus on the training and socialization that he needs.
Jake is currently residing at Countryside Kennels in Port Coquitam.  Once an adoption application is filled out we can arrange for you to meet Jake and perhaps have an outing.  Jake is a fun boy that deserves a home that will teach him all he needs to know.
Jake is neutered and vaccinated and ready for his new home.
