RoxyRoxy is a beautiful 2 year old rotti who is more than ready to find her forever home. She was transferred to us from Dawson Creek after being adopted out there and returned. She was then adopted in Quesnel in August 2013 and was just recently returned due to a break up. She has had a rough start but you wouldn’t know it. This girl is very well mannered and walks beautifully on leash. Roxy knows basic commands, and she is fully house trained and shows no separation anxiety. She will require a home with breed experience and a confident handler. She cannot go to a home with small children as she gets nervous around them, and no cats. She can be selective with her doggy friends so she does need slower introductions and is a bit unsure of ‘in your face’ kinds of greetings, but she plays wonderfully with the dogs she has met once a proper intro is done and likes to wrestle and body slam. She could easily go into a home with another large breed dog. She gained quite a bit of weight in her previous home so she will require an active home that can provide her with a consistent exercise routine and diet so she can get back to a healthy weight. Roxy is very loyal, eager to please and affectionate and is going to make her new human companion very happy! If you think Roxy is the perfect fit for your home, come meet her today.

Roxy is at the Quesnel SPCA.   if you have any questions about her or suggestions, you can call  250-992-7722 we are open 12-4 Tuesday-Saturday. quesnel@spca.bc.ca
