Donated Supplies.

We are always in need of toys, blankets, crates, collars and leashes.

Canadian Tire Money

I used to have this stuff cluttering up my kitchen drawers and the glove box in my car.  But now we can collect it and put it to good use.  There are many things we can do with it.  With all the Canadian Tire money we collect we can purchase dog supplies or items that we can use at our fundraisers and pub nights as prizes.

Stamps and office supplies.

You wouldn’t think it would be much but often we have to mail things and the cost of the  stamps, paper and envelopes add up quickly.

In 2011, our vet bills were approximately $10,000.00.  We often help dogs in small shelters with medical needs that the shelters simply cannot afford.  When we step up to the plate and pay for a surgery that means that dog is now more adoptable.  We can’t take every needy dog into our care but we can network for them and help them financially.  All donations that are received thru CanadaHelps is given a tax receipt right away.  Those donations that are over $ 20.00 and are mailed to us get a tax receipt at the end of the year.  Without your generous donations, we could not do what we do.
