Lana Banana
What a sweet little thing Lana is. West Coast Rottweiler Rescue was asked to bring Lana down from Smithers so that she could have a chance at a great home. We were thrilled to bring this baby into care.
Lana’s story is one of real sadness. She was found in a Rubbermaid tote filled with bricks and with holes punched in the sides down by a river. It was clear that whomever had her was just going to throw her in the river rather than try to find her a home. Thank goodness that river was frozen and she was found and taken into the care of North West Animal Shelter (http://www.nwass.ca ).
Lana was with us several weeks while we took care of her spay, tattoo, shots, etc. While everyone wanted a cute little puppy, we needed to find her just the right home. And that home showed up fairly quickly. Lana has a big rotti brother to play with, has the run of the house, has had the cat teach her that cats are not toys and even has a pool. She is adored, loved, and cared for which is exactly what we wanted for her.
