Louie - Adopted!
What a bone head this boy was. We got a call one day from a shelter in the Fraser Valley saying that they had a young rotti cross that had mange and was needing out. We had never had to deal with this disease, but we were prepared to do what we could to help. Louie ended up becoming very sick and spent the first few days at the vet hospital. Once home he recovered quite quickly and we started the treatment for demodex mange. Not only did we do the traditional medicine, but we also added some holistic components. That combined with the raw diet worked very well and within a couple of months he was ready to be neutered and up for adoption. Louie was such an active boy that just wanted to play and run and be a dog. We tried him out at a local daycare and he loved it, so his perfect home would be one with another dog. Louie now has a big family, a large house to patrol and has decided his favorite place is on the deck so he can view his new world. His family now calls him King Louie. We still refer to him as Screwy Louie
