Our Available Dogs

Dojo is a wonderful boy. Full of fun, love and personality. Dojo is a neutered male 1 ½ year old Rottweiler, Saint Bernard mix and is a very big boy weighing around 120lbs. He has completed basic obedience and was the star of the class. Dojo is friendly with people and likes older kids. He’s much too big for younger children and is still learning about manners with people. He does still like to jump up when he’s excited and share his excitement and love. Dojo walks well on leash and uses a halti. He loves to play with toys and squeakers are his favorite. Dojo can get used to some dogs in time but as a general rule given his size and lack of socialization as a pup he will need someone very experienced to manage any new doggy introductions.

We are completely in love with Dojo.  He deserves a home with someone who will absolutely love and adore him forever no matter what.  He is one of a kind, a dog who doesn’t come along just any old day. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is full of love and joy to share with anyone who loves him. And we will only allow him to go to the absolutely best home for HIM.

If you think you can offer Dojo what he needs, please contact us at wcrr.info@gmail.com for an application

This intent look is because I have a cookie in my hand.

Meet Kay: She has come to us after spending almost a year at a shelter. Kay is around 7 - 8 yrs old, in pretty good health, although she is somewhat overweight. She needs some leash training but walks really well on a halti. Kay is easy to train as she is pretty food motivated.

She is settling into her foster very well, has shown no interest in the resident small dog and isn't even interested in the pet rat. But we do know that Kay should not be around cats. Because of her size and age, Kay should be in a house that doesn't have small children around much. Ms Kay may do well with a respectful dog but she bonds very quickly to her people and certainly wouldn't mind being the only animal in the house. If you can offer Kay gentle exercise, high quality food, and a place in your heart and home, please contact us for an adoption application.
