Herbie @

This boy is called Herbie cause he's a love bug. (this shows my age) Herbie has been hiding out at our foster home for several months while decisions were made about what was best for him. There is so much about his past that we don't know but at this point none of us care. We do know Herbie is a wonderful dog and he deserves the best home ever. And here is our wish list for him: A quiet home. Herbie can be fearful. He is not aggressive but new things worry him. He will need to be introduced to new experiences slowly and calmly. Our feeling is that children would be far too much excitement for him. A friend: Herbie has been living with a smaller female that he absolutely adores. He would do well as a second dog, preferably to a well balanced female. Because he is an adult there is none of the silly puppy behavior. He is past the chewing on the shoes and tearing apart everything. But he does love his squeaky toys and often can be seen running and shaking them. Herbie has done well off leash staying close by and always checking in. His house manners are impeccable. Never a problem even when we work all day.
